We meet at the arranged place for the transfer to Lake Hess, where we become acquainted with our kayaks and the rest of the group. After a brief talk on kayaking safety and orientation, we are ready to begin our trip. Immersed in a place that is practically inaccessible to the ordinary traveller, we will soon tour around the entire lake.
Early in the morning, we pack our gear in our kayaks and begin our row towards the Manso River that connects us to our final destination, Lake Roca. We kayak around the entire lake, while admiring the famous ancient larch trees that enjoy the protection of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Our two-day expedition ends here, and we reach the town of Bariloche at approximately 7 pm.
