Race Details

Description

Taking place in the driest place on Earth, the Atacama XTreme offers 50km, 80km and 160km all non-stop in the heart of the Atacama Desert. The terrain varies from trails and sand dunes to salt flats and slot canyons, all at an average altitude of above 2,500m and up to 40-degree heat. This is no easy race, but the terrain is actually very ‘runnable’, and the time limit for the 160km is a generous 32 hours.
