Excursions
Excursions are categorised by theme; choose a day discovering the park's flora, fauna and geology, or opt for a culture and heritage tour visiting the region's gauchos and indigenous people. All the classic Torres del Paine activities are available, from hiking to horse riding, vehicle safaris to boat trips - there's a good range of easy to challenging trips too.
Hiking
Whether you crave a short walk to a lakeshore or a full day exploring the hiking paths of the national park, Hotel Las Torres offers a range of half- and full-day excursions.
Hike to the base of the towers, along sections of the W Trek, to lakes and waterfalls, or past the 'puma restaurant' littered with the remains of unfortunate guanaco. All are led by experienced bilingual guides with a passion for the region.

Horse riding
Wake up to the sound of horses being rounded-up from the nearby grasslands. The ranch heritage runs strong at Hotel Las Torres with over 200 horses reared on site and the attraction that the on-site stables can be visited any time you like.
The resident baqueanos, or gauchos, will be your guides on the numerous half-day and full-day horse riding excursions that are offered; you'll always being accompanied by your bilingual guide too.

About Hotel Las Torres
History
Founder Antonio Kusanovic Senkovic was the son of Croatian immigrants and became a successful cattle farmer in the Magallanes region in southern Chilean Patagonia. After purchasing the beautiful Cerro Paine ranch for his business, the family then decided to build (with their own hands at times) a small hosteria with nine rooms and a basic restaurant to welcome tourists attracted by the beauty of the place.
The hotel is unique in Paine as the owner family are very much involved in overseeing the running of the hotel and leading significant conservation efforts; they are sometimes seen around the property and are always happy to chat to guests.
The family heritage is strong at Hotel Las Torres and, whilst not a luxury lodge, a stay is reflective of its unique heritage and place in the history of Torres del Paine.

Location
The hotel is located on the trailhead to the base of the towers (Las Torres), so you're right in the hustle and bustle of the park. It’s perfectly situated for setting off on your hikes, be they with a guide or on your own during a free day.
Strategically located at the entrance of the park, hikers often stop at the hotel’s bar for a post-trek beer (brewed on-site), which adds to the wonderful energy of this busy place.
The bar
The award-winning bar at Hotel Las Torres is a great convivial place for trekkers to convene post-hike and enjoy a drink and chat before either retiring to your hotel room, or heading-off to the nearby refugio or campsite.
Billed as Chile’s first sustainable bar, the bar-staff are proud to show you their locally brewed beers, vermouth and gin - all of which are produced on-site, often using native plants as ingredients and served in recycled bottles that are creatively decorated.

Horses & Gauchos
Highly-qualified guides are an important part of the experience. They come from different backgrounds, but all of them have one thing in common – a love for Patagonia. The baqueanos (Patagonian cowboys) who oversee the stables and horseback excursions at Hotel Las Torres are an integral part of the Patagonian culture and many of them literally grew up in the saddle.
The founding family have been directly involved in cattle ranching in the region for three or four generations. No other Torres del Paine hotel can boast such heritage.

Self-guided Conservation Trail
Hotel Las Torres is dedicated to conserving and protecting their vast reserve as an integral part of preserving the National Park.
Recent innovations have seen a significant reduction in waste management, a minimisation in vehicle impact to the hotel’s area, and an establishment of an NGO to diminish the impact of tourists and replant the native species in the park.
On the hotel’s property guests will find a regenerative organic garden (producing three tonnes of food per year, which is served at the hotel) and an interpretative self-guided 2km walk that guests can take whenever they please, to learn more about this unique ecosystem.

Enjoy some time relaxing in the small spa at Hotel Las Torres. The therapeutic treatments on offer include massages, hydromassages, mud therapy, and reflexology.
In addition to massages and facials, you can relax in the sauna, jacuzzi, or an organic herbal bath. It's the perfect way to rejuvenate yourself atfer returning from a hike on one of Paine's trails.

Junior suites: The suites are the largest rooms (38m²/410ft²) in the hotel and include a mini bar, a small living area and a jacuzzi where you can relax enjoying the beautiful view of the Paine Massif.
Superior rooms: Spacious (22m²/237ft² or 20m²/215ft²) and warm, with excellent insulation and large windows to enjoy the scenery. Each one has been decorated with different and special elements of the area, such as looms and ethnic masks, with furniture made by artisans from Patagonia.
