We have a number of people asking about treks in April and with fewer scheduled departures going on at this time in the ‘shoulder’ season we thought it might be helpful to share details of a few guaranteed trips, and a few provisional trips going on.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0April is in the Austral Autumn so you can expect shorter days, and cooler temperatures but also fantastic autumn colours and fewer people in the national parks.<\/p>\n

Where dates are provisional please do let us know<\/a> if they might be of interest and if it would be helpful to move the trip forward or backward by a couple of days.<\/p>\n

In Torres del Paine…<\/b><\/h1>\n

\"Thomas<\/a>\u00a0The following W Trek trips are\u00a0confirmed and guaranteed:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \u00a0Original W Trek<\/a>, 5 days, starting on\u00a015th April<\/b>\u00a0from Puerto Natales<\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0This ‘eco’ camp option<\/a>, 7 days, starting\u00a0on\u00a07th, 14th and 21st April.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We also have some\u00a0provisional dates<\/span><\/b>\u00a0where private groups might be open to others joining, or we have people interested but are yet to guarantee the group…<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. W trek, with an off-the-beaten-track twist (12th-17th Apr<\/b>) and a\u00a02 day kayak trip (18-19th April)<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0– a pretty challenging expedition, only for experienced outdoors people.<\/li>\n
    2. Original W Trek<\/a>, 5 days,\u00a0starting\u00a029th March<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a022nd April.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Los Glaciares experience with a visit to the Perito Moreno glacier, day hikes and ice hiking on the Viedma glacier, from\u00a07th to 11th April.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
