‘Overall, a trip of a lifetime. Thank you very much.’

How was your experience with Swoop Patagonia and their partners in Argentina?

Swoop Patagonia and their partners did very well with regards to trip preparation and patiently answering all our questions as well as the trip execution. Swoop’s partners in Argentina were very helpful in arranging the local logistics and assisting us in the changes of plans due to weather conditions. Special thanks must go to Diego for his patience and support with this. I will definitely recommend Swoop Patagonia and their partners to others.

How were your guides on the trip?

Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, and made sure he kept us safe throughout the trip.

Is there anything that you would change about your trip?

I knew that weather conditions are unpredictable and can change rapidly in Patagonia, still the one thing I would think can be improved is to very clearly stress out the weather situation in advance. I wish we had kept our overall travel itinerary more flexible to allow for delays and itinerary changes due to weather.

Did you manage to visit anywhere else on your trip?

We also went to Iguazu and Tierra del Fuego.

What was the highlight of your trip?

The single highlight of the trip I would say was the climb up to Paso Pollone over rock and snow. Due to rain expectation we unfortunately were not able to pursue the original plan to climb Marconi pass and Gorra Blanca.
