I am on my way back from Patagonia. It was an amazing trip! Vicky is a perfect host and everything was really to my utmost satisfaction. It is a very authentic way of getting to know the culture, being challenged and relaxing. The most amazing to me was that you can have all the 3 experiences at the same time!

How was your experience with Swoop Patagonia?

I really liked the service of Swoop Patagonia, because Luke gave me all the information, without being too pushy. I found exactly the holidays I wanted to do. I think Swoop was great, I would definitely recommend you to anyone who is going to Patagonia.

What did you think of our horse riding partners in Torres del Paine?

The 10 day Glacier Ride was great. The horses were very safe and the guides always matched rider and horse very well. I have taken many horse riding holidays before and I never felt so safe on a horse as I did on this trip. They were very relaxed, and very careful with people. Perfect horses for such a trip.IMG_0900

Did you visit anywhere else on your trip?

I did not manage to visit other places, as I had no more time left. But I will definitely come back to do some trial running in a year or two.

Do you have any other tips for people planning a trip?

My tip for anyone going to Patagonia who tends to freeze, take your warm clothes with you (maybe skiing clothes, as least a jacket, warm socks and waterproofs). As I did the camping trip, I would have preferred to have a warmer sleeping bag. One which keeps warm until -10 Celsius, would have been the right one for me. I had one until -5 Celsius and it was too cold, I had to borrow additional blankets.

What was the highlight of your trip?

The whole trip was great, because every place in the Torres del Paine National Park is different and very beautiful.
