Creating Your Tailor-made Adventure
There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to creating the perfect tailor-made itinerary, but these steps give you an idea of the journey we’ll take, together:
We listen to your dreams for your trip and talk about your budget
Together we discuss your plans and itinerary ideas, if you have them
We provide inspiration for where to go, things to do, places to see and where to stay, then you choose your favourites
We advise the sequence in which to see and do things so that you make the most of your time
We arrange flights - if you’d like us to - buses and transfers, to create a seamless itinerary
Then, once you’re happy with your itinerary and the cost, we’ll book everything for you and provide you with a day-by-day itinerary. We’ll be on hand to help before, during and after your trip, whenever you need us.
We've picked a handful of sample itineraries to whet your appetite. Remember, you don’t have to choose an existing itinerary, or even use one as a starting point. We would love to build your itinerary completely from scratch - in fact, we do just that for most of our tailor-made customers. Let these itineraries ignite desires and inspire ideas for your own trip, rather than constrain you.
Whatever you want to do, wherever you want to go and however you want to go about it, we can make it happen. The possibilities are endless!
What Our Customers Think
We are independent travelers and I'm used to booking everything myself, but when it came to Patagonia I got overwhelmed with all of the possibilities, so I would highly recommend Swoop to anyone!

You couldn't have done more. Sally was excellent and helped shape and book our dream trip. We'd recommend you every time, and hope to travel with you again
Nicky & Graham November 2015
We had the time of our lives and we really put very little effort into the research. We relied totally on you, and we were not let down. I can't thank you enough.
Claire & Richard February 2016
You’ve done a really great job, Chloe. I’m not sure how many times you have to rework someone’s itinerary but mine was fairly complicated and you were superb. Thanks.
Lorraine July 2016
We could not believe how smoothly things went given the complexity of the trip. We were particularly amazed when, having been dropped in Puerto Montt at 7am without a soul around, a bus appeared from nowhere and we were all checked on for our trip to Bariloche!
Lyndsay & John November 2015
Sally put together an extraordinary itinerary
Janet January 2016
Thanks Sally, we really had a brilliant time and most of that is down to you and the planning.

Tailor-made Trips: FAQs
Patagonia isn’t your average destination. It’s vast and often difficult to navigate, so we help even the most seasoned of travellers. We’ll create your itinerary together, by listening to what you want to see and do and presenting you with options that suit, sometimes for things you’d never even thought of. You’ll still make all the decisions and your trip will be completely tailored to you - as if you’d pieced it together yourself.
Not if you don’t want it to be. We can work around your budget, adding frills whenever you want them - such as a few nights in a luxury lodge at the end of a camping trip.
We know Patagonia inside out, so we normally start from scratch. We’ll talk about your ideas and dreams for your trip and take it from there. If you already have an itinerary in mind we can use that as a starting point, but we’re equally comfortable with - and excited by - a blank sheet of paper.
We’d love to, but we’ll be busy helping other people plan their Patagonian adventures! You’ll be in safe hands with our trusted partners, handpicked for your adventure. We’ll be on hand to help if you need us, 24 hours a day.
Of course. If you really want to arrange your trip yourself we can help you choose the right activity, tour or lodge for you and then we can put you directly in touch with them. We have a network of over 100 partners in Patagonia, handpicked for their expertise and experienced staff and guides, so whatever you’re looking for, we can help.
I helped a guy design a trip that had three possible spots where he could propose. He took the first one, on an ice hike I think. I was checking my emails on Christmas Day to see if she'd said yes.

Don't try to cram in too much - I met lots of people who booked a bunch of excursions. I was personally glad I did the W, plus just a few days hanging out in Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas. I didn't see everything, but I had a great, relaxing time.
We LOVED our cabin upgrade at Los Cuernos- totally worth the extra $.
