Overall, how was your trip?

The circuit trek in Torre del Paine was by far the highlight. The remoteness and the untouched nature were amazing. Both of our guides on the hikes were amazing! The simple and quiet beauty is what we will remember forever.

El Chalten was a wonderful city! Our hotel was great and the tours with Walk were wonderful. Our guide was so knowledgeable and even brought mate with us on the second day so I could try it. I would highly recommend everything in El Chalten!

How was the Full Circuit in Torres del Paine?

The backcountry part of the curcuit was the best, it was quiet and beautiful. It was everything we wanted in exploring the beautiful park. Our guide, Gabi, was absolutely amazing. She was by far the best mountain guide we have ever had and taught us so much and was a pleasure to be with. The camps were wonderful and the logistics were great. We didn't have to think about anything and everything was tremendously well planned and organized. They even surprised us by hiking us a bottle of wine for new years! Overall it was amazing and spectacular.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Be open to the beauty and the ever changing weather of patagonia! Dress in layers and don't worry if the clouds cover the mountains, when they do part the view will be jaw-dropping. If you want to experience raw beauty Patagonia is the place for you! I would recommend if people are light sleepers to bring an eye mask as it doesn't get dark until really late!

Anything else? Tell us anything you’d like to share that we forgot to ask! It’s ok to leave this empty too :-)

The hotel in El Calafate was beautiful on the outside but was by far the worst of the places we stayed. While it wasn't too far from the main street it would have been nicer to be closer and the accommodations at the hotel were not great- the beds were uncomfortable, the shower was too low and hard to stand in the narrow bath tub and the food was not great. The other places we stayed were fantastic and I highly recommend but the Esplendar left something to be desired despite looking very fancy and swanky.
