Are you hoping to travel before the 28th of February 2022?

There’s a few things you should know about travelling to Patagonia in early 2022…

Patagonia's a big trip and we know how crucial it is to get it right. As you’re considering travelling in early 2022, we want to be upfront with you about the current entry requirements and travel restrictions in Chile and Argentina.

There are a number of entry requirements for Chile and Argentina, please read through and check you can meet these criteria

  • For entry to Chile, you need to apply for a mobility pass to validate your vaccination. If you still plan to go, you can do that here. Please be advised that this application can take up to 30 days to process.
  • Many land borders between Chile and Argentina in Southern Patagonia remain closed, and we are not operating any cross border trips this season.
  • Flights and accommodation have limited availability in January & February.

Swoop has therefore decided to no longer accept any new bookings departing before the end of February 2022.

Here’s what we suggest:

Option A:

Push it back by a few months and choose to travel instead between March & April 2022, to allow more time for planning and preparation.

Option B:

Defer your Patagonia adventure by a year, and lock in plans now while there’s availability to get the best possible match for you

If you are able to be flexible on your dates, the next step would then be for us to arrange a time to talk through the options.
