Looking to travel independently?

Many of our customers ask us to support them with just one part of their trip. They may need help deciding between glamping sites or want us to match them with a trek or other guided activity, but are happy to book their hotels and flights themselves.

1

Booking part of your trip with us costs the same as if you went directly to a local company in Patagonia, but there are some key differences. After you have booked with Swoop, you benefit from our expertise in matching you to the right trip or activity, along with access to our extensive advice and travel guides.

2

Swoop specialists, Chloe or Sarah, are based in Chile full time and know the ins and outs of all of our trips, having experienced many of them first hand. They can help match you with the right trips and a local guide over the telephone. When you’re confident you’ve picked the perfect option for you, they will send you a secure payment link for a small deposit before introducing you to the local operator, who will then send you all of the details of your trip.

Looking for a trekking adventure?

Not only was Swoop specialist Sarah a trekking guide in Patagonia’s Torres del Paine for five years, she has also trekked throughout the Himalayas, the Andes and the United States. Helping others plan their own trekking adventures is what gets her bouncing out of bed every morning!

1

There are endless trekking possibilities in Patagonia, so if you want help putting together a 2-3 week trekking holiday then give Sarah a call. Together you’ll plan an unforgettable trekking experience.

2

In our experience, keen trekkers like to talk directly with their local guide before their trip, so we’ll put you in touch with them once you’ve paid your deposit. From there, you can ask them additional questions and they can help you prepare.

Looking to join a group tour or travelling alone?

Joining a group tour is a great way to see the iconic sights of Patagonia, enjoy the camaraderie of being amongst fellow travellers, and keep costs down, whilst avoiding any of the stresses of travelling alone. We work with several different operators who run group tours and we run our own, too. Our group tours are especially popular with solo travellers.

Swoop specialist, Sydney, often joins group hiking trips herself and knows all the different group tours in Patagonia. If you’re feeling unsure about whether a group tour is right for you, she can help you to compare options and find a trip that suits you perfectly.
