Overall, how was your trip?

Seeing condors and beavers, nice camp sites, beautiful scenery.

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

We enjoyed Ushuaia it was in a beautiful setting had nice shops coffee shops and excellent restaurants. We did the four day trek in Sierra Valdivieso after our main cruise to Antarctica. It was tougher that we expected as there are very few marked paths and we had to make our way through lots of forests. But it was a nice end to our holiday.

Would you visit again?

Yes

How was the service that Swoop provided?

Our final up to date travel itinerary from you for the sierra valdivieso trek was incorrect so we are not sure what we paid for in the end. We did not stay in cabins on fagnano lake ( with showers !!) and on the last day we did not explore the lake take a boat to palacios bay and travel back by bus. We in fact did a circular walk back to the start where our guide had left his car. We also finished the trek at lunchtime as we walked quickly according to the guide. i was just trying to keep up with him ! he did show us where he was taking us the night prior to our trek so we were aware of the changes at that stage. This trip is more like what is on your website.

How was your experience in Buenos Aires?

I had not appreciated how hot it was going to be in Buenos Aires so had not packed any summer clothes, also because we had luggage limitations on the onward flight and going to Antarctica so we did find it a little hot. Having said that we enjoyed wandering around the gardens and liked the Palermo area. We liked the hotel clasico, the bedrooms were lovely but need blackout blinds and found a lovely restaurant Las Cabras near by for our evening meals both ways. the service provided locally was excellent the taxis always turned up on time and advice regarding restaurants was good.

How was your time in Tierra del Fuego?

We really enjoyed Ushuaia, its a real border town with beautiful views. Hotel Las lengas had lovely views from the reception lounge and restaurant and you can walk into town easily. As stated previously some of the bedrooms were tired and not up to superior standard for two nights of our stay. Eating out we really enjoyed the Almacen de ramos generales which was recommended by the local company. Again all the taxis were on time .
