Overall, how was your trip?

The ice hiking stands out the most, I wish I knew I would enjoy it so much I would have done the Big Ice Hike instead of the mini-trek. I enjoyed the Chilean side of Patagonia more than the Argentina side.

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

It was like entering Narnia!

Would you visit again?

Yes

How was the service that Swoop provided?

I would recommend Swoop, Sally was wonderful and patient with myself and my travel companion. I think the amount of hiking was too much for me but there was no way of knowing this until I got there and was in the elements (wind).

How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?

The partners were just so-so. I didn't like that Chile Nativo didn't have electricity in their camp until 8am when we often had to be up earlier than that, even an hour earlier would have made that a slightly better experience. My only complaint is that I never received the confirmation from their operations about the briefing time. Everything I had been sent said 5:30 which was incorrect! Luckily my travel companion got the confirmation. If I was traveling alone or we had gotten separated this would have been an issue. Walk Patagonia was fine, they sent a lot of information it was hard to keep straight since we were working with multiple people. They would send information to only myself or my travel companion instead of both of us which was frustrating. Overall they were fine to work with.

How was your experience in El Chalten?

Perito Moreno was the highlight! The hiking was nice, I ended up modifying and doing some shorter hikes.

How was your W trek in Torres del Paine?

Exhausting but thrilling! I think the hikes were a little too tough for me but I enjoyed it overall.
