Overall, how was your trip?

Peace in nature in the purest sense. It's a prime place to disconnect and enjoy being a human. In summary, it was surfing on rainbows. Thunder Pass day 2 is the pinnacle and the progression of the features along the trail really delivers. The great weather was the biggest surprise, our expectations were (properly) set for inclement weather. The crew was absolutely fantastic, friendly and funny when we needed it, highly professional when it mattered. Couldn't have asked for more.

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

It met and exceeded my high expectations. Fantastic

Would you visit again?

Yes

How was the service that Swoop provided?

Swoop service was exactly what we needed. Sample pictures, lengthy descriptions, and thoughtful comparisons helped us to make our final decision between trips. Many questions came up regarding trip logistics, equipment, gear, and weather. Tasch walked us through answers with credibility given her own research and her own prior trip experiences. I would recommend to others and use Swoop again.

How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?

The support balance was great. We felt confident booking direct after speaking with Swoop to make intros and understand what the process would be.

How was your Patagonian Trekking adventure?

The distance covered and the pacing all seemed exactly right. The route and lack thereof at many points was very welcome. This felt like the 'powder skiing' of trekking in that we had only broad guidance on which direction to trek and there were nearly zero signs of other groups. This is a huge benefit over other trips and one we appreciated. All of the transport logistics, meals, tents, etc were all figured out for us requiring zero extra thinking, much appreciated.

How likely is it that you would recommend this trip to a friend? (where 0 = Not at all likely, 5 = Neutral, 10 = Extremely Likely)

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Take inventory of all of your trekking gear and clothing once you decide on your trek. The trip provided some gear, other items (poles) were rented, and other apparel we bought. Thinking through this a few months out gives you time to shop or order stuff online.
