Overall, how was your trip?

Highlight was our stay at Eolo Hotel in El Calafate and our gorgeous hikes in El Chalten to Laguna de los Tres and Laguna Torre.

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

Yes! It was incredible.

Would you visit again?

Yes

How was the service that Swoop provided?

Very happy that I sought advice from Swoop. Really enjoyed the kayaking / camping trip especially! I will definitely seek their advice again.

How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?

Booking directly with the partners was very easy and efficient. Absolutely no issues whatsoever.

How was your experience in Torres del Paine?

Great! Although, I did have slightly higher expectations giving the significant amount of money spent on that leg of our trip. After having been to El Chalten where we were able to hike on our own (and it was a lot more affordable), Torres del Paine did not fully meet my expectations. But it was still absolutely magical and we enjoyed our time there. Our Eco Camp experience through Cascada was great, although overpriced. Considering the price, I expected more flexibility with transport and most customizable trips. We enjoyed Eco Camp, but I would not recommend Cascada and would not use them again. Also, given that this was our most expensive accommodation / leg of our trip (including Eolo), I expected them to at least acknowledge our Honeymoon...but nothing. All other places we stayed did something to acknowledge it. It's just the thought that counts. A little goes a long way. That bothered me a bit to be honest. The kayaking excursion through Tutravesia exceeded our expectations! It was just Kyle and myself with two guides, Carlos and Pauli. It felt like we were on an excursion with friends. They made us feel so comfortable and at home. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who enjoys kayaking and camping.

How likely is it that you would recommend this trip to a friend? (where 0 = Not at all likely, 5 = Neutral, 10 = Extremely Likely)

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

Using Cascada proved that I prefer to plan and customize my own trips, as they didn't do much for the money spent.

Is there anything you would recommend we change to make trips like yours more environmentally sustainable?

Improve communication about sustainability because nobody spoke about it whatsoever. The guides need to emphasize it more.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Spend at least 2 weeks if going to both Chile and Argentina Patagonia. It's so worth it! Also, expect to spend a lot more money in Chilean Patagonia than Argentine Patagonia.
