Overall, how was your trip?
My friend and I were so fortunate to happen into a trip with 3 other ladies our same age who were energetic and kind and perfect travel companions. Our guide, Mauricio, was top notch: Warm and welcoming. Well known and happily greeted by nearly all staff amongst the campsites and facilities. A perfect balance of motivation and patience, a wide knowledge of the trek and terrain, and a passion for the land. We had unusually fantastic sunny weather the entire trek which made for stunning views. Two moments of the trek stick out in my mind -- the night sky at Grey Glacier taking in what seemed like the entire galaxy with the naked eye; and an extended mountaintop lunch break overlooking Grey as we walked on to Paine Grande, enjoying the company of friendship we had made with our guide Mauricio and the porters Pablo and Antonio while we played cards in front of an unforgettable backdrop.
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
This Patagonia trip far exceeded my expectations -- hands down, the best trip I have taken to date.

Swoop was very helpful getting us ready for our journey, sending us informational emails, local recommendations, and connecting us to the local partner.
How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?
We loved Chile Nativo. Had a great experience with them. I appreciate the briefing the evening before the trek began. Mauricio was an energetic, easy going, informative, and pleasant guide who enriched our experience and made us feel pampered on a backcountry adventure.

How was the Full Circuit in Torres del Paine?
STUNNING. Vibrant colors everywhere you turn. Vistas that overwhelm. The walk alongside the glacier en route to camp Grey.... unforgettable.

Major compliments to the local partners / freelance porters Pablo & Antonio Navarro who accompanied us on our trip. They had tents set everyday for us when we arrived -- allowing us to crash into them with our aching feet and sore shoulders. They were polite and kind. Friendly and always smiling. Interactive with our group from the start. A great addition to our little trek family. We felt spoiled with well placed tents, hot meals, outstanding service, and fun shared experiences.
