Overall, how was your trip?
Highlight for us as we are avid hikers was Laguna de los Tres. The entire trail is scenic and the view from the top is otherworldly. A common reply from friends we sent photos to was "that doesn't look real" and they were right. The landscape is so dramatic at times that it seems unnatural...surreal. One surprising thing for us was how much we wore the buffs that Swoop sent before the trip. When we got them we thought they were strange and so thin that they would be of little use. We were wrong. We used them almost every day and they have become our new favorite piece of gear!
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
Raw natural beauty was stunning. People were friendly and welcoming. Exceeded expectations.

How was the service that Swoop provided?
Service provided by Swoop was fantastic...before...during...and after the trip. All accommodations met or exceeded our expectations. Every transfer (and there were several during our 4 week stay) was on time and the drivers were helpful and friendly. The Final Travel Itinerary provided by Swoop included all critical information and kept us on track throughout the trip. We did not need the 24/7 support from Swoop, but did contact a local rep via WhatsApp in order to get an earlier than scheduled transfer from El Chalten to El Calafate.

Just an FYI, there were 2 hotels that we found especially noisy - Remota Lodge and Chalten Suites. In both instances the issue seemed to be inadequate insulation between rooms. Voices of guests in other rooms or hallways were easily heard. There's nothing Swoop can do about this, but ear plugs certainly came in handy. If were were returning to El Chalten or Puerto Natales we would not stay in these properties due to noise issue.
