Overall, how was your trip?

We had a very lovely guide from Antares, Phillipe, who did a great job showing us around. My sons were particularly impressed by seeing the puma having her morning breakfast. The landscapes were impressive, and I enjoyed seeing the wildlife. The Pampa Lodge was particularly nice. I really enjoyed the quiet and the view from the lodge itself. Everyone we interacted with was very nice and friendly. The only confusion was in arrival from El Calafate. Apparently, the Always Glaciers company does not have the right to go in to the bus terminal, and we arrived a bit later than Antares was anticipating. In the end it was fine, and I have no hard feelings with Antares for that. It was a simple mix-up and they did offer an additional dinner as compensation for the confusion. We did really enjoy our itinerary with them -- I'll say it again... puma!

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

It was amazing. Very beautiful. It was more than I expected.

Would you visit again?

Yes

How was the service that Swoop provided?

We are happy to have booked through Swoop. The itinerary was clear and well-designed. The only issue was the confusion at the bus terminal, but clarity would help with that. We did text the WhatsApp number, but it was the weekend (we finally realized) and did not receive a response until the next day. We are seasoned travelers, however, and simply took a cab to our destination. No big deal.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

See the pumas!

Is there anything you would recommend we change to make trips like yours more environmentally sustainable?

I like that Antares sent a reusable water bottle prior to the trip, but it was funny that they sent water in disposable bottles each day. It was kind, but unnecessary. I should have told that to our guide, but I was distracted by the scenery.
