Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Definitely go for Patagonia. After trekking Torres del Paine, I feel like most of the time you won't need a guide, as everything is well-prepared and scheduled for the self-guided tour. You will also meet other people on the way that are doing the same trek, so you won't be alone.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes. I've met wonderful people on the way, and I felt that Torres del Paine still has a wild touch, with trails that were not too busy. The views were spectacular and I have no regrets from visiting the park.
