What was your most memorable moment?
Loved exploring the mountains and hiking. That is the best views and wilderness. The trails were fantastic shape, well marked and just spectualar views. Jeff enjoyed the fishing and literally said it was the best so far hands down and we have been on MANY vacations that involved fishing.

Tell us about Patagonia Camp
The staff at Patagonia Camp were OUTSTANDING. It was Lauren's birthday and we pre-arranged a birthday party celebrations. They organized a cake and even yurt decorations. they did an outstanding job and went above and beyond to make sure she had a special day. Everyone from the staff was saying happy birthday to her all day long. The guides for the hikes were wonderful and so fun. The staff in the bar and restaurant were friendly and after one day stay remembered tiny things like still or sparkling water or eggs for breakfast. Tea or coffee to drink. The chefs were FABULOUS. The food was delicious. The trail food was great - sandwich bar making and snacks plenty to keep you energized on long hikes. Staying at PATAGONIA CAMP was a special treat as it was our SPLURGE and it was WORTH IT. I would do it again.
Tell us about the Fishing
Jeff LOVED fishing adventures and highly recommened to the avid fisherman. He had so much fun and LONG great days on the water. These were full fishing days and he loved it.

A++++++ fabulous hiking and trail network and we do alot of hiking. it was great

Tell us about Torres del Paine
Yes yes yes hiking was fantastic. I wish I could have stayed LONGER to do more hiking in the park, but only so much time in each location to fit it all it. Guess maybe I will have to come back some day and do more!!! hahah It was great
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Use swoop! Do your research and think of this as a once in a lifetime opportunity vacation. Costs are just what it takes to have an amazing vacation. Do it.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
We love vacations. We love planning them and taking them. We learn something new every trip. Can't wait to start planning the next one.....I wonder where it will be!?
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Carys is the best of course because we were with her the longest and finally able to take our trip after the many covid delays. She was always available, attentive and quick responses. Knowledgeable and good advice. Plus we met her multple times on our recent trip so that was just great and made it even MORE personable. We also met a great co-worker of hers - Danny at Patagonia Camp and had a blast. At the start of planning this trip in 2019 for a 2020 departure we were with Peter, Zoe and Charlotte...all who were great, but it was Carys who put us in the country after all the covid restrictions lifted and she was great. How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Very very very and it lived up to all expectations. We are still talking about it and sharing pics with our friends. It on our top three vacations list now with Costa Rica, Spain, German, Belize trips.... Patagonia took some top spots on our vacation list. J Roche
