Tell us about the Zodiac

Outstanding!! A 10 on a 10 scale.

Tell us about the Excursions

Definitely would recommend the Walk Patagonia guide and services. Spot on in all regards.

Tell us about the Trekking

Explora trekking guides were excellent. Informative and uniformly on top of the varied level of trekkers.

Tell us about Argentinian Lakes

Not to be missed. Bariloche is a nice town, but pales in comparison to Villa Angostura and San Marting.

Tell us about Torres del Paine

More beautiful than imagined. A toss up on it vs Glaciers...both were spectacular

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

If traveling from Explora going north to El Cheltan via a two stage / step travel, use the public buses from the bus station in El Cheltan versus the "private" shuttle service. The private service for travel from El Calafate to El Cheltan has a limited number of departure times. Big, full sized buses run constantly...same roads, bigger seats and better viewing. We had to wait nearly three hours in the El Calafate bus terminal awaiting the private shuttle. That was a bit of wasted time.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

Only in that it confirmed that the world is big and wonderful and definitely worth exploring!!

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

Peter was an excellent advisor and resource. His knowledge of the areas was a key to our planning. Kudos to him!!

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

Excited and ready. Probably a bit too many cold weather clothing....but a minor detail.
