What was your most memorable moment?
The story I tell first is the unsuccessful attempt to climb Laguna de los Torres because of the sideways wind, rain and cold. Just to take off my raincoat to add a down jacket was quite an experience.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

In particular, two things about the itin: -question about going to Lago Pahoe from Lago Grey Hotel to hike along Lago Grey -ask about shuttle rides from airports to hotels and between hotels vs a rental car in Torres de Paine.

See previous answer about Swoop in this survey and in an email on March 22, 2023. The continuity of having one person at Swoop was interrupted each time Peter, Zoe or Lewis would go on vacation. In particular, two things about the itin: -I question about going to Lago Pahoe from Lago Grey Hotel to hike along Lago Grey instead of just staying at Lago Grey. -The option of shuttle rides from airports to hotels and between hotels vs a rental car in Torres de Paine should have been offered.

Travel always opens my horizons, not only about the beauty of nature but about the universality of humans.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We were definitely prepared for all types of weather which came in handy. We looked forward to all aspects of the trip: BA, Bariloche, Mt Fitzroy, the cruise, Torres de Paine. Perhaps too much, a bit anxious.
