What was your most memorable moment?

We really enjoyed the day of puma tracking. We finally found a family of 4 with about 30 minutes of daylight left. The winds were extreme, so being blown off the trail and the constant impact to the eco domes, the Australis, and Zodiacs will live long in our memories. It added an unexpected level of excitement and awareness to the adventure!

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Spring weather is very erratic. Hiking poles are very helpful. Good rain gear and waterproof hiking boots are essential. Prepare to be cold and damp in the spring. If you plan to hike, prepare physically before the journey.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

We enjoyed the educational portions of the experience - learned a lot about the fauna, geography, glaciers and native people of the region. Some info-lecture at Ecocamp would be welcomed.
