What was your most memorable moment?
When we got engaged just under Mirador Britanica! We also absolutely loved the mountain passes, lakes and river crossings on La Horquetas. It was a beautiful obstacle course!

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Don’t take US dollars. Get Petos in the U.K. in advance. Take a photo of your DPI paper. It’s really important you don’t lose that. You’ll need it quite a lot while you’re out there. You must go to Cerro Castillo 😍

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
We didn’t feel that well prepared for the la Horquetas. We turned up with all the right gear but it was only upon meeting the te the night before that we found out what we would be eating, how much we’d need to carry (or nor, depending on how we felt), would there be showers or not, etc. it would have been nice to know all this before for peace of mind but we loved every moment of it! Mary and her guides were absolutely fab and I felt they went above and beyond for us on many occasions. Making NYE special, helping us change dollars and arrange transfer. we’d recommend la Horquetas over the W trek.
