Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Wearing layers is key. I also found that I packed clothes expecting to wear different pants everyday but instead only wore one pair the whole trek. Could have definitely packed lighter. A good backpack is very necessary.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes and no. I've always had a passion for travelling and seeing the world. So while that in itself hasn't changed, my desire to see more has increased.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
As a whole, the trip was excellent and there isn't much that I would change. I think the refugios were setup nicely. My only real complaint would be that a few of the lunches were not enjoyable. I also went on the trip with two vegetarians and one of their sandwiches was just bread and shredded carrots. Maybe accommodating better for those meals would have been nicer.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
Not really, I fell they helped prepare me well.
