What was your most memorable moment?

There was a moment where we had spent about an hour hiking on our third day. When we reached the top of a ridge, we got our first view of the valley and it was utterly breathtaking. Patagonia is so beautiful that it does not make sense.

Tell us about the Trekking

The guide was awesome! He felt a little burned out, but still great. I would fully recommend Cerro Castillo to people. It is easy to get to and shockingly gorgeous but without nearly as many people as other parts of Patagonia. Definitely worth the visit.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Do what you can to make it happen. It is well worth it and unlike anything else in the world. And, Torres del Paine is incredible, but don't forget that other parts of Patagonia are just as stunning but also much more intimate.

Would you be interested in travelling to the Arctic with Swoop?

No

Would you be interested in travelling to Antarctica with Swoop?

Yes

Would you consider another trip to Patagonia with Swoop?

Yes

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

Definitely prepared. But, the hiking poles were listed as optional for our trek. Given some of the rough terrain, they would be listed as mandatory.

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

We had a lot of communication errors with the customer service team. They were very responsive, but we got inconsistent pricing quotes and they would provide us information or suggestions contrary to what the local partner recommended. There definitely seemed to be a gap of the people just not understanding what life in Patagonia is like.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

It fully reminded me that I feel rejuvenated in the mountains. I need to visit more.
