Tell us about EcoCamp
We loved our dome-SUP 1 - the location could not have been better. My only observations were: 1. Lighting in the bathroom could be brighter. 2. Heaters easier to use. We were unable to get our heater to work most mornings when it would have been nice to have it. Fortunately, the weather was pretty mild .
Tell us about Torres del Paine
TDP wasn’t breathtaking - sadly the towers were shrouded in fog the day I hiked Base of the Towers, but on our mountain bike ride the next day they revealed themselves in all their splendor.
Tell us about the Excursions
All the guides were great and knowledgeable. They were enthusiastic and helpful. We particularly enjoyed Francisco.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Definitely read about the tipping and currency on the website. I found it very helpful.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really, other than the myth that Patagonia is always cold. Ha ha. We were lucky to have mostly warm and sunny weather and wished we’d packed some shorts (October).

Well prepared and excited once all the packing and planning was finished.
