What was your most memorable moment?

EVERY moment was beyond AMAZING! 1) Our Guides were top notch: Carolina and Flo and driver Israel were beyond phenomenal. I greatly appreciated the fact that our group of 10 ladies had women guides who were fun, knowledgeable, and integrated so well. 2) WOW the food! SPECTACULAR! 3) The rooms were super comfy!

Tell us about EcoCamp

10 out of 10! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Guides were spectacular - to the point that I will follow them to any company they go to - bc they were that fabulous! Excursions were super fun! I would say for large groups that are ALL in one party (vs multi groups) - it's always good to stop half way to assess how the group is doing in case anyone wants to stop. And the excursions at Ecocamp always did that - and was much appreciated.

Lifetime experience - and will never forget it!

Tell us about Santiago

Saw it, learned a lot, but everything was closed - felt a bit like a ghost town - but it was still VERY nice!

Tell us about the Biking

Something Else?

Driver back to airport from Ecocamp - which was arranged was unfortunately drinking as he was driving the 11 of us (10 of us plus our guide). We did all these daring activities to end up having a driver that was unsafe as we headed to Punta Arenas airport - and being professional women, wives, mothers - that was a terrifying downside.d

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Don't tour Santiago on a Sunday if you want to feel the vibe of the city. Your packing list online has to be updated. 1) The Kayak team provides a wetsuit. 2) ONLY if it's snowing do you need gaitors. 3) DEFINITELY pack a waterproof pants as a layer over the clothes

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

In every way - about our earth, about our family, about myself!

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

On the emails - always have the representative put their signature with their name, email and phone number in case you need to call them. I was always having to Google the phone number for Swoop - when I had a quick question or when we arrived at the airport and our driver wasn't there. Some of the airport info wasn't updated - even though I had put together a spreadsheet with flights, sizes, etc. Will be good to know upfront what all you need - in addition to the Swoop Forms that are on the Travel Link.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

I felt prepared AND there is so much info on the site - which is great!
