What was your most memorable moment?
There were numerous memorable moments, but likely the best was reaching the top of the trail to Torres del Paine. It was very empowering from a physical standpoint to know that the months of hiking had been culminated in this amazing hike up and up and then up some more through boulders to reach the view at the top!

Tell us about Hotel Las Torres
We were there as the season was coming to an end, so it was not very busy. I personally liked this. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable. The service was excellent. The food in the dining room was excellent, as was the food in the bar area. The front dest was very helpful. The tour service was also very helpful with advice about tours, booking, etc.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Take a camelbak - one can never have enough water. Make sure you hike regularly and get in shape before going to Patagonia.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I continue to love hiking!
