What was your most memorable moment?
We loved the entire adventure, but hiking on the last day to the Torres del Paine viewpoint brought tears of joy to my eyes. The 10 days of hiking was tough but totally worth it. Our group of 13 travelers from all over the world (9 from N. America, 2 from the UK, 2 from Holland) were tons of fun and we all got along well. Several of us hope to travel to one another's homes!

Zoe was excellent - the other hiccup was the local guide in Santiago messed up. We got off the plane and were looking for our name, but she had the wrong name so we didn't know where to go. I saw in the notes that if we didn't see our guide/driver with our name to go to La Pica restaurant - we walked over to the other terminal to that restaurant, but no guide. I called Swoop/left a msg and Zoe returned my call and contacted the local company. The guide eventually found us at the terminal and admitted the name on her board was showing the earlier a.m. traveler! So not Swoop's fault but we lost at least an hour and we were frustrated at the time. Zoe was great in solving the issue quickly.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Ensure you're in good shape prior to the trip. Pack light! Pack a small lightweight daypack in addition to a heavier backpack or wheeled luggage. Pack good raingear and windgear. Wear waterproof trail shoes and use lightweight hiking poles.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
See my previous comments about more specific details about packing lightweight daypack in addition to heavier pack. It'd be best if your company handed out daypacks just for carrying water/raingear/lunches.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We were very prepared and excited - it met our expectations :)
