Tell us about EcoCamp

Eco camp was a fun place to start our journey. At first Employee seem to be a bit snippety with their responses when asking the location of certain areas is if we had been there before. I felt that they warmed up and became a bit more friendly, and perhaps realized we were asking the location of certain areas because we just arrived.

Tell us about Torres del Paine

Beautiful primitive mountains, sprawling untouched, land, and glaciers that were so vast and beyond expectations.

Tell us about the Trekking

All the signs leading to destinations was in accurate. Our tracking overall was not what we were informed about. We had no clue the first day we were going to hike 20 miles. Everyone we spoke to agreed signs are incorrect in kilometers and I realize they must’ve change the routes but we asked often how many miles how many kilometers they would say we have 45 minutes left which turned into an hour.

Something Else?

The day of the mountain pass, I felt that there was no communication between guides no communication between the Rangers and conditions on the Mountain Pass. Full white out mountain snow we hear, and Colorado are accustomed to, and we brought our micro spikes. Nobody else on the mountain had them! Better, Intel, more extensive training is needed for the people guiding in Patagonia. Our guide N actually would hike so fast ahead, we started joking every day that we were not going to run that day’s hike. Alberto was amazing love what he does enjoyed speaking about the land and was probably one of the best guides I’ve had in all my adventures.
