Tell us about the Trekking
The trekking was the best we ever had, Dani not only supported us he gave us the confidence to attempt Fitzroy by ourselves afterwards. When I fell on one of the hikes he guided me down the mountain calmly after administering first aid, bolstering my bruised confidence. Could not been any better.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
To avoid the crowds start hikes not later than 7.30. Stay overnight at Paine Grande refugio to avoid arriving with the first catamaran
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
We did not think we could walk such distance in 5 days … we got such a kick out of the trek that we trekked up to Fitzroy on our return in Arentina, making it three half marathons in 5 days. Epic … we were super lucky with the weather all peaks in view
