After waiting 40 years, visiting Torres del Paine exceeded my expectations. The team at Swoop and our guides during the trek were amazing.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
The recommendations for gortex rainwear and boots were so important. I would offer that you continue to suggest these items are not to be overlooked as “must have “ items for people considering such a trek. I was surprised to see so many people who attempted this trek without such gear; they looked miserable.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It has greatly expanded my knowledge of the area. Now I want to explore more in Southern Chile!

The check list was excellent! Again, I suggest stating these items are not to be overlooked as “must have “ items for people considering such a trek.
