What was your most memorable moment?
So many. If I were to pick one I would choose experiencing the Patagonian wind for the first time. There is no preparation, just experience.

Tell us about EcoCamp
This is a great place. Room was very comfortable. Excursions fun, guides were fantastic. It felt like being at summer camp as a kid. But the food was much, much better than any camp I went to as a kid. Even though I’m not a vegan or vegetarian I appreciated those options being on the menu.
Tell us about Tierra del Fuego
I had no idea what to expect. In hindsight I would have done more research on what Beagle Channel trip to take. I was glad to have had a variety of activities there; canoeing, hiking and a 4x4 ride.
Tell us about Chilean Lakes
Hiking by the volcano was the highlight. I would gladly go through a couple of days of rain for that one good day hiking the volcano. My advice would be to give the visit enough days to increase your odds of catching a nice day. Expect rain.
Tell us about Torres del Paine
The highlight was seeing the early morning light on the towers from just outside my EcoCamp dome. That was pretty cool.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Have the right clothes.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really. Might go hiking more than I normally do.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
None. A fantastic job all around.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Very prepared. I was excited for the trip and enjoyed it very much.
