What was your most memorable moment?
The one sunny day we had in Torres del Paine on the Lookouts of Paine excursion from EcoCamp. Caught my first sight of condors that day, wow!

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
We were told that in Argentina we could use our credit cards widely. That certainly worked but we learned that tips can't typically be charged to a card, cash is required. We did have Argentine Pesos but they were large bills so we over tipped a few times until we could get smaller bills. ATMs in Argentina limit amounts that can be withdrawn and charge huge fees. We used Western Union and to send money to ourselves for local pick up. We could get any amount with much less in fees.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes! I think S. America has more to offer than imagined and I can't wait to see more.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
All our personal interactions with the Swoop team were productive, professional and enjoyable. The information on your website was most helpful and the planner made us feel very prepared, especially with a long 3 1/2 week itinerary.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We were excited for months ahead of our trip and Swoop's videos and webinars added to the excitement / preparation. We felt as if we packed everything necessary for the trip and didn't miss any piece of gear or clothing.
