Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Pay attention to the packing and clothing advice from Swoop! We did and were very well prepared.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

It was our first trip to South America. We were so impressed by the culture, people and history, in addition to our tours, that we are more inclined to think about other trips to different countries. It opened our eyes to this beautiful world.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

We are over-preparers, so there could never be enough information for us! Plus we were somewhat nervous, given our ages, about our preparedness for the hiking involved. But, there were plenty of opportunities to scale up or down, depending on energy levels, weather, etc. We were very excited to make this trip and we feel very proud that we accomplished so much and saw such an amazing part of the world.
