What was your most memorable moment?
Fishing at Estancia Cristina. A beautiful setting and helpful guides led to a great experience, resulting in a catch-and-release of a very large chinook salmon.

Keep doing what you have been doing! The transport, accommodations, tours, and events went off flawlessly!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
This was my first visit to South America and could not think of a better way to see this remote but utterly beautiful area.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Be prepared to walk! Hiking culture is so pervasive in this area. If you don’t speak Spanish, take elementary Spanish lessons in advance. Even my foundational Spanish helped break the ice with the locals and allowed us to better engage.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I was a little nervous about the language differences, but we were able to communicate effectively with the drivers when needed. The guides spoke English very well, so we enjoyed their stories.
