What was your most memorable moment?
Difficult to pick out one event on such a memorable trip, there were so many great moments. The most memorable thing will probably be the fantastic people we met on the journey. The guides on the excursions, the staff and crew on Magellan Explorer, staff at the hotels. They all helped to make the trip extra special. This is before even mentioning the breath taking scenery and spectacular wildlife. If I had to pick one special moment, it would be a five minute conversation with an elderly gentleman in Caleta Tortel. He spoke no English and we had only the most minimal Spanish, yet somehow he welcomed us to his town and we manged to communicate our thanks and appreciation of the beauty of the place. We parted with smiles a hug and a handshake.
