Tell us about the Trekking

Treks done in Torres del Paine were fabulous. Our guide Antonio super nice and pro. Treks in Fitzroy area also very nice. Great guide. Should have done more treks in NW. Needed more time.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Don’t lose important stuff and make sure you solve before leaving the country. Argentina and Chile relationship is messy and it seems no one can handle. Layering. People are incredibly kind and friendly. Be cool and generous. Don’t try to go everywhere and spend several days in main spots (5-6 days). So much to do and see especially if you are trekkers. Patagonia is awesome in many respects and the NW is also fantastic. The red wine is great in many areas. Mendoza and El Cafayate areas are fabulous. But not only, it should be tried and discovered in many places.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

I don’t know about change, but certainly confirmed that these 2 countries are fabulous. Go deeper in regions of interest. Don’t try to see everything, you’ll end up tired.

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

You guys are good and work with great places/people but your problem management is pretty non-existant and for sure not efficient at all.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

Still excited. I will go back.
