Mika was an incredible guide and made the trekking wonderful
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Winter is cold but less crowds and less wind. However weather is changeable as we had blue skies one day and snow the next. El Chalten has great hiking, but long. Worth it if you are in shape.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
You know you are far away from the U.S. and other areas, you truly feel like you are near the end of the world. Made us feel like we can take on more adventures. People and hosts were so kind and helpful.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Very flexible when we had a snow storm and worked get us home. Mika supported us above and beyond! All transfers and accommodations were easy and no issues. Guides and itineraries were clear and helpful. Great flexibility in planning to meet our specific needs in time and what we wanted to do.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Very! And it lived up to everything
