Day 1: Arrival
Meeting in Puerto Varas to discuss the trip. Gear check and paperwork.

Day 2: Soak in the hot springs
At first light-around 7am-beneath the majestic local volcanoes, Calbuco and Osorno, we will board our shuttle towards the port of Petrohue, about an hour away. From there we will take a local ferry-inspected and authorized by the Chilean Navy-for about an hour across Lake Todos los Santos towards the port of "El Rincon". From here we'll being our trek. We'll cross through Valdivian forest towards a family cottage at the El Callao hot springs. Here we'll rest with the owners, enjoy their home-cooked food and have an opportunity to soak in the hot springs.
Day 3: Lake Los Quetros.
After breakfast, we'll begin day three by heading off into the woods towards lake "los Quetros", about 3 hours away from the hot springs. When we get to the lake, we'll enjoy a picnic and then make camp and spend the rest of the day relaxing, exploring the nearby surroundings and fishing.
Day 4: Rupanco Lake
At dawn on our final day we'll continue on in the direction of "Las Gaviotas", on the southern shore of Lake Rupanco. Here the family of Luis Mayer will welcome us with food and warm place to relax before boarding a 20 minute boat ride across Lake Rupanco, nicknamed "El Poncho", at the foot of Puntiagudo Volcano. Our shuttle will be awaiting us by the lakeshore where we'll catch our ride back to Puerto Varas. (Accommodation not included)

This trip can run as a group trip, with prices starting from $0 per person for a complete group. If you are looking to join a group or you are a solo traveller we will help to form likeminded groups of travellers. Please let us know your travel plans.
The trip can also run on a private basis to fit around your plans. Departures may be tailored and can be set up on a date of your choice. Please note that there is a higher price for smaller groups. Please enquire for further details.
