In terms of the sights and the people, Patagonia was wonderful. The landscapes were larger than life, and even with photos, it was not possible to really capture the entire scope of what we saw. You just have to be there! We liked this aspect about it. We also met people on the trail who we’ve now connected with back at home. It was awesome to have made friends who have shared in such a unique and wonderful experience with us.

Fantastic trip, hugely varied in landscapes and experiences. Great. Lots of highlights not just one - but the Stella Australis was very special. Landscapes were huge, dramatic, inspiring and beautiful. We found the wildlife varied and interesting - including two pumas! All the people we met were helpful and friendly. We always felt safe. Iguazu was more dramatic in size and scale than photos suggest. There were many magical moments. So much to like.

The trip was incredible! We really lucked out on the weather. On our first day, the Towers were gorgeous and getting to visit the Britanico Valley was spectacular, despite being long, somewhat difficult days of hiking. The picturesque views on day two could not be beat, especially as coming into Los Cuernos. We really loved the experience with our group, both the other people and our guide, Mauricio.

The landscape and immensity is overwhelming. People in all hotels were very attentive and genuinely liked their jobs.

My girlfriend and I were first time trekkers and were not sure how we would find the 5 day W-trek. We both agree that it is the most rewarding holiday we have had on any continent. The ultimate highlight is difficult to pick, as we were exceptionally lucky with weather during the week - the landscape of the park is breathtaking in a manner that no photo or video can adequately capture - the memories we have returned with are too vivid to forget. We remain in touch with the other members of our group, I didn't anticipate that the social aspect of the trip would be significant, but it definitely was!

My highlight was the trek on day one, to Grey Lake. I think this is because it was the first day, so everything was very 'Wow'. Landscapes amazing, wildlife good - saw some birds and little lizards. The people I met were great, very friendly, energetic and happy. I will tell my family and friends to go. I was surprised the weather was so good - only one morning with a bit of rain and snow. I think a 'magical moment' was kayaking on Grey Lake and getting up close to icebergs and the glacier.

Really special to visit the Torres del Paine by bike. Dittmar Adventure travels was great. I felt very well cared for and found the experience very much worth the expense. Fenomenal wildlife viewing, and the guides were very informative and happy to allow me to indulge in photography and other interests. I've told tons of people about it, shared photos, etc. No major surprises, aside from the fact that I wasn't expecting the food to be that good.

Each day was something new with changing landscapes and weather conditions. The hike to the mirador of the French Valley was a true highlight. We have been busy sharing pictures with family and friends. One day we were caught in a blizzard and then 4 hours later it was sunny and warm

Great hiking experiences

The scenery and ability to hike in one of the most beautiful parts of the world was incredibly special. Everyone we met was knowledgeable, gracious and eager to share their love of Patagonia. We saw a good amount of wildlife and greatly varying terrains.

The Winter W-trek was a truly unique experience, and part of our bucket list of places around the world to go hiking. The highlight of my trip was reaching the Grey Glacier after a long distance hike and having lunch facing the glacier in silence - a moment of pure tranquility. The landscapes we saw varied day to day and we were lucky to see a herd of guanacos, condors and even a wild puma! We got on very well with the other people in our group (from the USA and China) and learned a lot from them - they inspired us and gave us more locations to add to our holiday bucket list! The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. I have some amazing pictures and have been showing them to everyone at home and at work. We hope to visit Patagonia again in the future, perhaps to experience it in the Summer.

Overall my trip was incredible. I honestly don't know if I can think of a highlight - the group was amazing, the guide was fantastic and the views were just second to none. I couldn't have asked for a better group, we all got on so well and the guide (Armando) couldn't have been better.

The trip was just grand,

What awed me the most has been the stunning, sheer beauty of the mountains, besides the wonderful landscapes and the infinite open range horizons. Also, the wildlife is amazing, we got to spot a puma, too (and condors, caracals, llama, guanacos, red and grey foxes...). I’ll teach my grandchdren the respect for such a special, unique place like Patagonia.

My highlight was going over the John garner pass. I knew there was going to be a huge glacier but there is nothing to prepare you for that view over the top.

The trip was great. The highlight of the Swoop portion was definitely Easter Island.

It's impossible to pick a highlight because we enjoyed so much of what we saw and did, for many different reasons - the landscapes, encounters with wildlife, chatting with people, our activities, the weather, the food. We were surprised by the quality of the huts we stayed in (more like basic hotels really) and the coaches we travelled on (so smart and comfortable). Also, the weather was far better than we expected! We really feel like we made the most of our time in Patagonia, which was important as unfortunately it could be some time before we can go back.
