Overall, how was your trip?

I would not say that the people working in the refugios were particularly friendly, but wow the people we met along the trail were all so unbelievably friendly! Almost everyone we passed said Hola, and it felt like we were all friends sharing this great experience together. The landscapes were unique and breathtaking, something new around every corner. We were fortunate enough to have good weather, as I think that would be the biggest cause for disappointment for most trekkers in Patagonia. The most magical moment was when we reached Mirador Britanico... impossible to describe the feeling of being in such an overwhelming place. Much like the first time I looked down into the Grand Canyon. The biggest surprise was how beautiful Los Cuernos were in person; photos do not do them justice. But Mirador Las Torres was the real reason for the entire trip to Patagonia, and despite the huge amount of people there and on the trail, it was one of the most spectacular things I have ever seen.

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

It met and exceeded my expectations!

Would you visit again?

Maybe

How was the service that Swoop provided?

Prompt, friendly, and inspired me to be excited about the adventure awaiting me! I would definitely use Swoop again.

How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?

Chile Nativo was great, and I don't think I would have found them on my own. They were professional and quick to respond to all questions and concerns. Apparently they also treat their guides very well, which is important to us.

How was your W trek in Torres del Paine?

The highlight of the trek was Mirador Britanico. Torres del Paine exceeded our expectations, though I think the refugios could do things better (bathrooms/showers especially). I am glad meals were included because everything at the refugios was very expensive. Our guide Camilo was excellent, and I would most definitely recommend him. I have had a lot of guides over the years, and he is one of the best. The transport/drivers were great (very clean vehicles, safe driving).
