Tell us about Explora
Explora guides were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the meals-- excellently prepared and nice variety. The only negative I had is that the rooms are subpar for the amount of money being charged. The windows in the bathrooms were not necessary and created challenges when getting ready in the morning since it was difficult to see one's reflection in the mirror. The original room I was assigned to had an issue with very low water pressure so I had to switch rooms during my stay, which was an inconvenience.
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Stunning! Lots of campers/other hikers in the area in December. Also, be prepared for lots of rain and wind.
Do you have any recommendations or feedback for the Swoop team?
The company that handled the transfers was excellent. I would not recommend the hotel I stayed at in El Calafate-- the rooms were kept too warm with no option of adjusting the temperature and this made me very ill for the remainder of the trip.
