Tell us about Torres del Paine

Yes, it lived up to my expectations. The highlights for me were, Glacier grey, John Gardner pass, Dickson camp, Britannico viewpoint and base torres.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

The only issue I had was with vegetarian lunches provided by campsites/refugios. There was just a huge difference between vegetarian lunch and dinner in general. First few days, they at least added avocados/cheese. But most days, the lunch was just lettuce/a few vegetables in a huge piece of bread which was not really filling when you are hiking all day. I am glad that they at least provided some extra snacks in the lunch box, and I had my own energy bars but I wouldn't really call that sandwich a proper lunch. I guess that problem is really for the campsites/refugios to solve, but I wanted to mention that. Overall my experience as a vegetarian in Chile and Argentina wasn't the best. I had to really hunt for places with healthy vegetarian options(other than pizza/pasta).

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

As a vegetarian, carry more options for food always!
