LOVED seeing and hiking the glacier - it was absolutely awe-inspiring. Partner loved the huts and the camp spots. We made some great friends along the hike :)

I enjoyed the hike at Bernal Glacier from Skorpios III. The lenga trees and fuchsia were beautiful and then we reached the glacier. There were beautiful rocks with jasper and serpentinite on the rocky beach by the meltwater lake.

While the hikes were wonderful and beautiful, our favorite part of doing these outdoor trips is sitting down to dinners and breakfasts at the Refugios and meeting other people and making new friends. We always come away from our travels having made many new friends. Some we have even gone on trips with in subsequent years.
