Why We Like This Estancia
Overlooking the Traful Valley in the Argentinian Lake District, Estancia Arroyo Verde is a small family-run fishing lodge. The Traful river provides plentiful fly fishing opportunities and the surrounding mountains are perfect for horse riding and trekking. Accommodation is in 5 rooms in the main house and a separate private cabin.
With just 5 rooms in the main lodge, this family-run lodge has a welcoming homely atmosphere. The lodge offers a dining room, bar, lounge and sun room where guests can spend time with each other and their hosts.
For those wanting more privacy and seclusion, the Arroyo Verde also offers a one bedroom cabin which can sleep up to 4 people. The cabin sits on a rocky outcrop above the lake, around a mile and a half from the main lodge.
