From this viewpoint on the slopes of Loma del Pliegue Tumbado there are stunning views on all sides. As well as a unique perspective on the massifs of Torre and Fitz Roy, there are extensive views over the valleys below them and, in other directions, the Patagonian Steppe and the vast Lago Viedma. The viewpoint can be reached on a day-trek from El Chalten, which takes you up through forest to an area just above 1000 metres, where it is possible to find remains of marine fossils.
