Day 1: Travel by private transfer from the lake-side town of Puerto Varas (or Pto Montt) through deep forest to the Valle Cochamo. Arrive at Riverside Lodge in time for afternoon tea. Stretch your legs before a three-course dinner. Overnight in cabana. (T, D)
Day 2: Enjoy a leisurely full breakfast. Then set off on your chosen water activity on the Fjord Reloncavi - paddling your own sea -kayak, or taking a relaxed cruise on a fishing boat. The kayak option takes you along the shores of the tidal basin, with a picnic lunch on the way. The boat option takes you to a sea lion colony, hot-springs, and a local fisherman's family for a traditional curranto lunch. Overnight at Riverside Lodge. (B, L, T, D)
Day 3: Fuel up on breakfast, and set off to explore one of the world's three remaining temperate rainforests - on two feet or four! You can elect to hike - with directions or a guide, and camera. Depending on the route, you will stop for refreshments at a local farmer's or carry a packed lunch. Or you can be guided on horseback, along a centuries old cowboy trail - riding our hardy mountain horses on comfortable Chilean saddles. Return to Riverside Lodge for a baked tea-time treat, before transferring out. (B, L, T)
