Standing with our small group at Laguna Amarga Ranch as a pregnant puma walked very close to us! Being able to observe pumas as they played, chewed on guanacho bones, "eeked" to call their cubs and teach them to hunt.

The stay at the Explora Patagonia Salto Chico Lodge and the adventures had in Patagonia were absolutely exceptional - The service provided by Swoop to confirm details of the trip with me were helpful planning the trip, in an area I was not familiar with. We left with confidence that all the details planned would come to fruition, and they did. We were seeking an incredible over the top experience with this trip and it exceeded our expectations!

Making it to Mirador Los Torres and Mirador Frances on consecutive days…..great hikes. Seeing Puma. El Chalten and hiking to Mirador Fitzroy with Lucie our guide.

Overall, being able to complete the hike, which was challenging and amazing. But the third day (John Garner pass) was probably the most memorable.

It was snowing and hailing the day we did John Gardner Pass. The groups had split into two and I was at the back of the 1st group. I trudged along, just trying to not slow anyone down. I was definitely tired and cold. I remember seeing the group resting and waiting for me to come up over the pass. When I reached them I couldn’t contain my emotions. I burst into tears. It was so unbelievably beautiful. How lucky I was that I was physically able to see this wonder. So many people will never get get the chance to experience this… and I counted my blessings and thanks.

We loved the private cabins at cuernos, the amazing views along the way, and our guide Santiago was awesome the whole way!

Climbing up the last part of the Base of the Towers hike and seeing the view for the first time. This was made even more special when the clouds rolled in as we left and it began to snow. Perfect timing!

My most memorable moment was being on top of the mountain looking at the towers. Danny took us on this steep but less travelled trail to view the Towers. We were the only ones on the trail for most of the day and still provided amazing view of the Towers and panoramic view of the Patagonian valleys below. Very memorable!
