Why we like this ship

  • We love that this is a purpose-built expedition ship, designed for exploring remote locations.
  • Even in open water, the ride stays smooth thanks to advanced stabilisers.
  • With fewer than 100 guests on board, it always feels intimate, never crowded.
  • The suites are genuinely comfortable, many with floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies so you can watch Patagonia’s incredible landscapes drift by from your own quiet space.
  • We appreciate the thoughtful design with a clever system that reuses heat from the engines to warm the ship and provide hot water, reducing fuel use along the way.

We think it's worth noting

  • There are no hot tubs, and the gym is small, but the sauna is popular.

The eye-catching design looks stunning amid Patagonia's icy fjords and waterways. A key thing for me was the expedition team - extremely knowledgeable, personable and time off the ship was prioritised to make the most of the incredible locations along the way.
